yesterday we went to participate in a memoir workshop conducted by our friend donna... she read from her three memoirs and gave the audience prompts to write to... both holly and i wrote and read for the first prompt... which was to write about yourself as an inanimate object... i was really impressed with what holly wrote... afterward i encouraged her to write more... she has some ability... also, i wrote this...
i am a tube of bright red lipstick and i am, as you might expect, obsessed with lips... i can't get enough of them... right now i am the i wanna get laid choice of my possesor... which means i go along for the ride on hot dates... my effluents get smeared all over the place in scenes of passion that would make your toes curl... the things i have witnessed...
afterward a woman came up to me... she had loved what i wrote and wanted a copy of it... i shared it with her...

Yesterday the Trump administration said it would not use any of the approximately $6 billion the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) holds in reserve to fund the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). The government shutdown means that states have run out of funds to distribute to the more than 42 million Americans who rely on SNAP to put food on the table.
Bolen and Wolkomir note that about 80% of stores that accept SNAP are small enterprises. SNAP benefits are an important part of revenue for those smaller businesses, especially in poorer areas, where they generate significant additional economic activity.
And yet, at the same time the Department of Agriculture says it cannot spend its $6 billion in reserves to address the $8 billion needed for SNAP in November, the administration easily found $20 billion to prop up right-wing Trump ally Javier Milei in Argentina.

i have worked out my halloween costume... i bought a red midi spaghetti strap slip dress at a vintage clothing store... only $26... i will go as a devil in a red dress... red devils horns, dragon head cane, red sunglasses, red dangling earrings, red lipstick... red boots, pink-red stockings... this will be the first time in i can't remember how long that i will have a halloween costume!...
