yesterday was halloween… my wife’s favorite holiday… she went all out this year…
the face tattoos are temporary, but don’t come off easily… she slept with them still in place and is hoping they will be in good condition when she wakes up… we have a halloween party to go to… i am dressing up for the first time in i don’t know how long… i will be the “devil with a blue dress on”… here is a not so great picture of me…
what you can’t see in the photograph are my amazing red knee high boots with 3” heals… i am a towering 6’4” in those boots… unless i have begun to shrink as humans do when they get older…
i am wearing a blue sweater dress from poetry today… with a multiple strand tiny bead green necklace holly gave me for christmas last year… i have dark green tights and my semler boots on… my favorite pair of boots… my nails are burnt orange red… my lips are an orange pink that coordinates with my nails… i have a pair of gold sunburst with blue stone dangling earrings on… i love my look today… as i have said and will say repeatedly on this blog, i love feminine presentation… i was thinking as i walked down main street this morning… i used to be shy about wearing tights… i wore jeans or jean like leggings under my sweater dresses to keep them on the edge of masculine… people read my sweater dresses as tunics… i have now normalized wearing tights for myself… i prefer them… they show off my legs…;-)
i am thinking i will make a frittata to take to the halloween party today… easy, tasty, relatively healthy…

that’s how i see it… hard to stomach the republicans demands for democrat capitulation when they are holding out for health insurance premiums that average people can afford while the president turns the white house into a presidential palace and mike johnson continues to refuse to call congress together to even discuss compromising which also is the excuse for not seating the congress woman from arizona who would provide the final vote calling for consideration by the full house of a motion to release the epstein files to the public…

i think we have entered our own “let them eat cake” era… as i recall, things didn’t end well for marie antoinette…
i am wondering if the point of all this is to provoke rebellion… if the administration makes “the people” desperate enough they will start committing crimes of desperation and will in general rebel… desperate people don’t rebel peacefully… is that the point?… getting to marshal law?…
