not feeling well, emily in paris, gender trash from hell, digital transgender archive, invading venezuela, oil vs renewable energy

yesterday i was grateful for getting the chores done and the girlieness of emily in paris...

today i am looking forward to a quiet sunday...

i am not feeling great today... more intestinal discomfort though not due to cheese or dairy... i don't think... as i had almost none in last 24 hours... maybe kombucha?... i noticed last year that too much probiotics seemed to make things worse?... or perhaps some tainted food... i roasted turkey thighs that had been in the refrigerator for longer than i would like, though they were vacuum packed...

i watched a couple of episodes of emily in paris last night... i have missed that show... friends give me a hard time for liking it... i know it is fluff, but i love the girlieness of it... and emily's lipstick is always inspiring... i think she may have been the character that gave me the idea i could wear deep red lipstick... which i now do regularly...

i have been making my way through gender trash from hell... just read an account of an amab going through gender reassignment surgery... it went well and she was very happy in the end... this is not something i am contemplating for a bundle of reasons... mostly because i don't feel compelled... i do sometimes wish i could present more femininely... less fascial hair, breasts, feminine facial features... but i feel too old to go through all that and, again, not compelled... i am happy with cross dressing and wearing makeup...

looking up tapestries a transexual publication, i found this resource...

Overview - Digital Transgender Archive

The purpose of the Digital Transgender Archive (DTA) is to increase the accessibility of transgender history by providing an online hub for digitized historical materials, born-digital materials, and information on archival holdings throughout the world.

i have saved the link for future reference...

the Trump administration launched a strike against Venezuela in the early hours of Saturday, January 3. Without consulting Congress, officials ordered the military to seize president Nicolás Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, flying them to New York City to face federal charges newly announced by the Southern District of New York.

Five Facets of the Attack on Venezuela by the Rogue Nation the US Has Become

The fact that wars and lots of blood for oil are somehow an acceptable price to pay for energy has never ever been ok. This alone is more than enough reason to phase out fossil fuels asap." Sun, wind, geothermal, and hydropower are widely distributed across the earth and will not generate any such conflicts and corrosive geopolitics.

and this is a really interesting point to me... that fossil fuel, oil especially, is at the root of so many of our conflicts around the globe... that we will be less likely to make war on each other if we transition to renewables... and it will slow down the war we are making against the planet...
