first morning after return from block island…
i am in full fem this morning… hair down… summer dress… sandals… necklace… and the biggest news… the bra i ordered from pepper actually fits me… so finally a true strapless bra to wear under my lovely summer dresses… i am so happy…
getting my nails done today… h will come too…
tonight i am going with hb and her friend r, a cross dresser, to see ALOK, a gender fluid comedian, writer, performer… i am really looking forward to it but wondering what to wear… i keep thinking all sorts of different outfits… the dress i have on… one of my lovely shift dresses… one of the new shift dresses arriving today… if they get here in time… if they fit… decisions!...
end of an era on block island with h’s mom passing away… sadness thick in the air… m was an elegant woman... i loved her signature french twist... i came home with a bottle of her perfume... lancomé... roses... i love the scent... h does too... on me even...
my mother in law’s passing was as good as it gets for her and her children… h is a competent nurse and with the nursing available on block island she was able to keep her mother home and help her let go of life within that home… i also think it was really good for and meaningful to h and her sister and brother to be there at the bedside, taking turns offering care and comfort to their mother… sad… beautiful… we all should be so fortunate…
i am feeling a little better about world affairs since orban’s defeat… a blow to the christian nationalists and maga… it turns out orban had been giving money from hungary’s treasury to fund cpac… the new government looks set to rejoin the european union and nato…
more and more, once allied countries are turning their backs on the trump administration and the united states… i don’t blame them… how could we elect him twice?…
i am tired… i need more sleep… looking forward to returning to routines of home…
i came home to the new issues of harper’s bazaar and elle… i am an unabashed lover of womanly fashionista mags… beautiful young women… compelling fashion ideas… i never paid much attention to fashion mags before… now i do… i have subscriptions to three of them… will add more... i embrace the feminine mystique in my own wo-manly way... so much fun...
