on some level this gets at the complexity of me... i am the husband, but also the wife... i am the son, but also the daughter... i am the masculine, but also the feminine... in this uroboric configuration i project myself into the world...

Trump’s promise notwithstanding, demolition crews have begun to tear down the East Wing of the White House, the “People’s House.” Jonathan Edward and Dan Diamond of the Washington Post noted that today a backhoe began ripping through the structure. The National Capital Planning Commission, which approves construction of federal buildings, has not signed off on the destruction, but in September, Will Weissert of the Associated Press reported that the Trump-appointed head of the commission, Will Scharf, who is also the White House staff secretary, said the board has no jurisdiction over demolition or site preparation. “What we deal with is essentially construction, vertical build,” Sharf said during the only public meeting about the ballroom.
it is unbearable to watch the trampling over and destruction of everything that is sacred... though a materialistic, capitalistic society holds nothing above exploitation and trampling... what seems laughable is that a lot of this is the tip of a spear the shaft of which is christian fundamentalism... an epically secular approach to the world in which nothing seems sacred... i despair that western civilization is anything worth preserving for the future...
i have been having extraordinary problems with some new technology i purchased... my fiio m21 is a lovely peace of equipment... solid build... great sound quality, but i have had such problems getting my music collection into it... i should make it clear, that my attempt to move away from the apple eco system is plagued with issues not related to the m21... for example... a bunch of music that i burned into itunes from cds i owned is not now accessible... as in, i am not authorized to use it, which suggests that the copyright police bots are being overzealous...
the sad thing is, that i tossed many of the original cds when i brought them into apple music... so, i have, it appears, lost music that i spent money on... which is why i will be developing a digital music library of downloaded files independent of any music service out there... you only own your music if you have it on your own devices...
so far... my attempts to transfer the files i do own and have access to have not succeeded... every pathway provided by fiio has not worked... it is incredibly frustrating... bugs?... or corporate hegemony feature?...
